Welcome to our website. We are in the process of calling a new pastor. In the meantime, following are the scheduled ministers for the upcoming weeks:
March 14th - Rev. Sharon Carter, daughter of Joe and Betty Davy will be sharing the Word with us and leading us in Communion. Rev. Carter is a graduate of Louisville Seminary and has pastored several churches in the Knoxville area.
March 21st and 28th -Jim Kirkpatrick, former director of Campus Ministry will be joining us to share the sermon Series, "The Road to Jerusalem." When the Pharisees asked for a sign of who he was Jesus said, "but no sign will be given ... except the sign of Jonah." Then he demonstrated the answer by beginning his journey along the road to Jerusalem, and Easter. During this time of Lent Bethel Presbyterian will travel that road as a way of discovering who Jesus is. His followers asked who would be great in His kingdom, and that is also our question. To find the answer we will begin on March 7 with The Sign of Jonah and seek to understand his strange answer; then on March 21 we will find ourselves amongst The Rich and The Blind; and we'll conclude on Palm Sunday (March 28) by finding The Power and the Glory.
